Configuring MobileIron to use JumpCloud's LDAP-as-a-Service

Prerequisites:
See Using JumpCloud's LDAP-as-a-Service to obtain the JumpCloud specific settings required below.

When using MobileIron's Connector for LDAP, here are the basic settings to configure authentication with JumpCloud's hosted LDAP service:


LDAP Server - Connect


Directory URL: ldaps://ldap.jumpcloud.com
User ID: uid=<ldap-binding-user>,ou=Users,o=<your-organization-id>,dc=jumpcloud,dc=com
Password: <ldap-binding-user-password>
Confirm Password: <ldap-binding-user-password>
Directory Type: Open LDAP
Enable this LDAP Server: checked


 

LDAP Server - Configure


Group Member Format: UID


OU Search Attributes


Base DN: ou=Users,o=<your-organization-id>,dc=jumpcloud,dc=com
Attribute Name: ou
Search Filter: (objectClass=organizationalUnit)
Search Scope: Subtree


 

User Search Attributes


Base DN: ou=Users,o=<your-organization-id>,dc=jumpcloud,dc=com
Attribute UID: mail
Object GUID: gidNumber
First Name: givenName
Last Name: sn
Display Name: cn
Email Address: mail
Member Of: memberOf
Search Filter: (objectClass=inetOrgPerson)
Search Scope: One Level


Group Search Attributes


Base DN: ou=Users,o=<your-organization-id>,dc=jumpcloud,dc=com
Attribute Name: cn
Member: member
Search Filter: (objectClass=groupOfNames)
Search Scope: One Level
