Unable to set user password "Password does not satisfy complexity requirements due to missing number, special character, and uppercase letter."

Symptoms

In the User portal, the fields will not save the password and notes: "Password does not satisfy complexity requirements due to missing number, special character, and uppercase letter." Or, "Password must be n or more characters."

Cause

This is by design. The JumpCloud administrator sets the password length and complexity requirements for users.

Solution

Create a password that complies with the length and complexity requirements stated. Questions regarding these requirements should be directed towards your JumpCloud administrator.

TipPassword complexity requirements are set in the JumpCloud Admin Portal Security Settings.
