Synology NAS imports JumpCloud LDAP Users with “username@jumpcloud.com"

After setting up Synology with JumpCloud’s LDAP-as-a-Service, the Synology NAS appliance constructs an email style “Name” shown in the LDAP User listing within the DSM Control Panel => Domain/LDAP => LDAP Users tab.  The Synology NAS is using the configured LDAP Directory Domain information to construct this displayed “Name” value. When connecting to a Network Share presented from the NAS appliance, your end-users will only be required to enter the “USERNAME” portion of this displayed “Name” attribute when authenticating to the NAS and accessing the Network Share on the File Server.
